Yay Thursday

This week went by sooo fast. I only have one more class till the weekend, which I am super excited about because for some reason I have been exhausted. It is crazy how things can change in a week slowly but surely. I wonder what next week will bring? 


I might go out and see the horses this weekend. That might be fun get some fresh sun, and hopefully not get bucked off. I have never been bucked off a horse, which is kind of surprising. My stepmom owns and rides cutting horses. Which I am going to start training in which is really scary to me. It will be fun though, and maybe I will meet some cute cowboys. Don't you just love them in those wranglers. I DO!!! 


Ooo and I think I am going to buy a new pair of jeans, because half of mine have holes in them. And you can't really where jeans with holes in the butt!!! Eventually I am going to have to get some new winter clothes. I have been loving this hot weather, because I hate the cold my body just wants to hibernate during the winter, but I am might as well look cute while I am miserable.

Thinking...

Lately I have been thinking about the future a lot, and it just freaking scares me. It is hard to imagine where I am going to be in 10 years. It is crazy to think about being an adult and having a professional occupation. Like right now is a new chapter in life. I just have no idea! I certainly know when I was 9 years old, I had no idea I would be doing what I am doing now. Life is just really really interesting to think about! All I know is I want to remember the days of my lifes..haha kind of like the soap opera, which has been on FOR days!! I have to admit I kind of like it. Anyways I think the one thing everyone should do is keep a personal journal. I started one when I went to Europe and thank goodness I did because I would have forgotten the little things. I seriously keep every stub to anything we went. Even the business cards to all the restaurant and hotels. I pretty much have kept it since, even though I have been slacking a bit. I am seriously gunna make it a goal to write in it more even if it is about stupid stuff I did during the day. Because then I can look back and go wow I watched the hangover 3 times on june 1st. Ohh and I still keep most things I get so I can stick them in there it makes your journal look WAY cooler. I just really don't want to forget these days, because when I am all old and stuff then I can kinda go back by reading my babblings of life...

Eyelashes and whole food axiom

It is almost halloween, it is sooo much fun getting dressed up!!! I am going to have to reuse my costume from last year, but that is ok because it is really cute =D I remember looking forward to halloween when I was little. I think I have been every Disney princess there has ever been. My favorite was probably Bell. I wish I could find the pictures of my dress it was so fabulous. My mom was really good at finding the best outfits. Maybe next year I will be bell again if I can find a cute outfit

Bought a whole lot more eyelashes then these. Eyelashes are just so much fun to wear. You can look like a celebrity for a little bit. It is kind of funny when you see celebrities because they are always wearing fake eyelashes. I don't see how people put those things on EVERYDAY! 

The other day in my english class my teacher said one of the funniest things I have ever heard, but it is also such good advice. It is called the whole food axiom. His whole point was about how girls shouldn't try and find the love of their live at someplace like a bar. Because most likely it is not going to work out ya know. A really good place would to be to go Whole Foods. 

1. If they shop at whole foods they must care about their health

2. They are probably not a crack head because they are spending their money on food at whole foods and not buying crack rocks

3. They have enough money to shop at whole foods

4. Also if they are grocery shopping, they are most likely not drunk, so they will remember your name the next day!!

5. Oh and if your conversation starts out really good, you can always extend your first meeting by grabbing lunch at the buffet in Whole foods

That is really good advice if you think about it. I might try it out someday

So I woke up in a horrible mood today. I don't know what it was, if it was from having bad dreams or just thinking about stupid stuff. Anyways I woke up to a blog written by one of my favorite people Kandee Johnson. She is so inspiring! Anyways she wrote a blog about having a bad day and changing it. This is one of those things I try and live by. When I am having a bad day or if something/someone is making me upset. I just have to take a second to step back and really think, this isn't that bad which most times it is not. Going outside and seeing how beautiful the stars look or to hear the birds chirping. I guess the things I am trying to say if people shouldn't let the little things get you down. You just have to see the beautiful things in life, and then surround yourself with them. It isn't worth days and days crying over something. Because all that time you spend crying or feeling upset, you could be changing it. Or you could be out doing something you love, even if it is getting out and going outside to take a walk. Another thing I wanted to add is SMILING! Everyone should smile because if you smile say at someone you never know if they are having a bad day, just by smiling at them and showing them some bit of kindness might just turn there day around! You just got to show people happiness and that will rub off on someone. Anyways now today has turned into a fabulous day, cuz all I had to do was tell myself it was going to be. Also listen to a good song and dance around my room! I hope all of you have an amazing beautiful day!

High School

Let's talk about High School. I went to Damonte Ranch. Well I did not enjoy high school AT ALL!!!! My Freshman year went ok. Then Sophomore year came and I decided I did not have to go to school. So I practically missed the whole school year. I don't know what it was about school that I hated. It really just wasn't for me. So after failing the whole year. I thought maybe online school would be better so the beginning of my "junior" year. I did wolf, well that sucked too cuz I really needed the help from a teacher. I came back to Damonte almost a semester late so yet again I was behind. Even though I hated school and everything about it. I went did my work and left. When I actually went to school and tried I had about a 3.8 GPA. Senior year rolls around and I am doing great have all A's, and plus I had taken summer school and also am doing online school! It occurs to me that because I messed up so much, I was way behind. While all my friends were gunna be graduating at the end of the year. I had to look forward to summer school + online school + another whole semester of regular high school. That is when I came to my senses and got my GED. It was the best thing I have ever done. I know people look down on them, but I think they are great for people that just couldn't stand high school. So about February 2009 I got my GED. Had a huge summer, then started college with all my friends. Even though I got my GED I get A's in all my college classes yay! All I have to say is now I appreciate learning and I love it. So much that I work extra hard to get A's in all my classes.

Tattoo's

On Saturday I went with my friend Kelsey to get her second tattoo, so I thought this would be a great blog to talk about one of my favorite things TATTOO'S!!!! I feel like I say "one of my favorite things" well I have a lot of favorite things mmmkay haha.


So lets just say Kelsey and I were not feeling soo good Saturday morning, because well we had our big ole black light party bash. The drive out to Mound House was a long one, but we made it in time to get her wonderful tattoo!

So tulips are her and her mothers favorite flower. The two flowers represent them both, and kelseys mom is always saying believe. It is a very awesome tattoo I am jealous!! 

Well when I turned 18 I really had my tattoo planned out. And boy did I get a tattoo haha

Its a koi fish with cherry blossoms. It started out about the size of my hand, but grew in the end. Yes it was very painful. And I love it. Hopefully I will be able to save up enough money to get more =)

Oh and my mother did not talk to me for two whole weeks after I got this. It took about 15 hours total.

 

I was sitting outside today and I realized how much I miss summer. And how much I am going to miss the warm weather. I am not at all excited about the snow and the cold UGH!!! But I just had to soak up the rays while I still can. Does anybody else miss summer? Hmmm counting down the days till next summer!

So today my friend Kelsey and I started getting ready for our friend Sams birthday!!! It is going to be a black light extravaganza, and we had so much to get ready for. It is always exciting planning something. Especially someones birthday, because this is their day to shine and have fun. Just being apart of that and making it happen makes me happy =) 


Walmart really makes me mad. My aunt always tells me not to shop there blah blah blah, but you know I like cheap stuff so I really can't help it. Sometimes I just get irritated, like today NONE of the card things worked at the self checkout. Just imagine all these people trying to check out on the own , which already bad to begin with because all the people don't know how to scan and put the item in the bad. Then the card machine doesn't work so on poor walmart employe has to shuffle all of us to a check out stand, and check us out herself!! At the same time I have had some great adventures in there. It is really awesome they stay open 24/7 because when your bored and it is 3 o'clock in the morning. You can just go to Walmart and ride the little kid bikes around, yes you might get kicked out but for that few minutes of fun it is totally worth it!!!

So on to the black light party. The first thing you need it a white tee and a ton of high lighters so people can write all over you. You want to glow glow glow! 

Soo a random fact about me. I kinda love playing video games. Yes I may not be very good at them but when I do start playing I get addicted. I also need a new xbox so i almost got the limited edition halo one!! I think I can wait a little bit longer. Because I am afraid if I get a new xbox then I will get the itch to play wow again. If you don't know what wow is, it's a very addicting game, so addicting in fact that China made a law limited the amount of time you can play because pretty much people stopped showing up to work ahah!

SOOO guess what I learned this week! Tide glows under the black light. Now I have the great idea of writing all over the walls with it! Well I guess painting since I will be using a paint brush. So much fun for a black light party. Has anyone seen that movie orphan? AHH remember when she has all those pretty pictures on her walls, then BAM she turns on the black light all the creepy pictures come up! Can you imagine if you moved into a new place and you just for some reason decided to put on a black light, and you saw scary stuff drawn on the wall. That would freak me out!

Finally had to make house rules. Don't know how many times people got into arguments over the rules of beer pong. Like seriously people get into pong mode, it makes me laugh every time. Does anybody get really really into playing beer pong? "Oh no you can't say hold it, you have to say leave it." I mean come on does that really matter? I guess so since we were told this time there had to be house rules!

Shopping!

So I don't necessarily think of myself as a shopping addict, because I don't go shopping all the time, and I don't spend huge amounts of money at one time. I can defiantly see how people do get addicted though. Does anybody else get that almost "sugar high" feeling when they shop? I would have to say shopping is one of my favorite things to do. I love getting new shoes, clothes, and even makeup!!!!! My closet gets larger every year. 






In the last year or so I have come to love makeup. I still don't where a lot of makeup but I still find myself buying it. One of my favorite eyeshadow pallets I have found is Costal Scents. OMG so amazing and it was only $15 for 88 different colors! Also urban decay.

So glad I was able to get this. A little more expensive but Urban Decay's quality of makeup is really good. They have fun colors!

Shoes shoes shoes. I don't the moment when I started buying so many shoes, I think this all started when I got my own money. Since I didn't have to ask my mom for money to buy stuff I had the option of buying whatever I wanted. Including shoes, idk why I love shoes but that is another thing that I always have to have something new of. I am just glad my mom taught me good spending practices. Like always look for the discount clothes, shoes, etc. Also buying summer clothes/winter clothes at the end of the season. Just imagine finding $10 dollar shorts that would normally be like $30!!! I experienced my first black friday a couple years ago, and I must say it was an adventure. I know a lot of people probably go I don't want to deal with crowds. That's what I thought at first, but let me tell you it is worth the crowds. I was buying jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sweaters for as low as 50 cents. It really blew my mind, you know how when you get your receipt it tells you how much you spent and then at the bottom it tells you what you saved. Well at one store I spent like $90 and at the bottom it said I saved something like $400. I wish I could find that receipt because it just makes me laugh every time.

THIS IS ME!!!

This is my first blog, so I guess I will start out telling a little about myself. My name is Grae-Marie, and yes it is pronounced like the color. My birthday is December 6th. Born and raised in Reno. Spent my elementary years in Chandler, Arizona. I am currently just a student, trying to make my way to ultrasound school.  My stepmom is an ultrasound tech so that is where I got my inspiration from. Speaking of my stepmom she is the most important person in my life, I really don't know who or where I would be if it wasn't for her. I love her a ton, she is absolutely the most hilarious person you will ever meet. Ooo I love cooking I wish I still had a big kitchen so it was a little easier. I don't really know what I want to come out of this blog but I guess we will wait and see =)

This is my cat beans. He is currently the only man in my life haha. If anyone has pets they know how special they are, and the kind of close relationship you can have with them. I love him!
