Going Cupcake crazy!

I have been kind of going cupcake crazy lately. I don't really eat the cupcakes I eat just give them away to friends and such. But cupcakes are so much fun to make and idk why but I love them! Anyways I have been cooking and baking yay. I love cooking my meals it just tastes so much better then eating tv dinners every night

This was the first cupcakes I ever made by scratch. They are Tres Les I forgot how to spell it, but it means three milk in spanish. They were so moist and delicious. They soaked up a whole tupperware dish full of the three milks. I didnt think it would be possible without making them soggy but it worked and they were delish!

Now for the coconut holy cow I have never tasted anything so good in my life. I might actually have to start selling these. The frosting I used was cooked sugar and egg whites with coconut extract. It is probably one of the best frostings I have ever had. I can't wait to make more types of cupcakes. I think the next ones I am going to make are these chocolate cherry ones. I think they are called black forest cupcakes named after the black forest in Germany. You know the forest in all of the fairytales such as snow white and hansel and gredel. Cool fact I visited that forest last summer. It totally had a fairy tale vibe! Maybe I will be able to find some pictures from the black forest =D

Stressed

It is that time of the school year where I start to feel the stress building up. I am letting stupid little things get to me. I just need to calm down. I will get through this semester I always do. But this is about the time you start wishing for a vacation. You get more tired at the end of the days and your weekend arn't filled with hanging out with your friends more like writing a couple essays and studying for a couple tests. Anyways in a couple months I am going to look at the ultrasound school I want to go to. Super nervous to move away for four years. And i know I am gunna come back to reno it is just going to be sad that everyone will be in a totally different place when I do finally come back. Thank goodness it is easier to keep in touch with people. Speaking of keeping in touch I found my best friend from Arizona. I moved to Reno in the 5th grade so it has been about that long since we talked. Gosh I wish I rememebered more from when I lived in Arizona. Maybe talking to her will spark more memories =) but it is nice to find long lost friends it is crazy how easy it is to get ahold and stay in touch with people now.


Ohh and I have found a new love in baking cupcakes I should have taken pictures of the ones I made last time but I plan on taking pictures of the new batch =) they should be delish. Ohhh and I found these cute little monster recipe ones. Soooo sweet! Wish I had someone to eat all these stuff I make because it takes me like a week to eat dinners I am and of course all the cupcakes.
When I start actually cooking meals again I will post pics of that too 

My Dad!

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. He would have been 55. He passed away when I was nine and I miss him so much. Wish we could have celebrated his birthday together. But days like yesterday I just appreciate all the moments I did have with him, and I know he is still looking after me and is with me every single day. So I just hope he had a wonderful birthday up in heaven =) Here are a couple pictures I found of my dad and I. And just a couple from when I was a little girl

To listen to all my old cds. Staring with R.E.M gosh I miss buying cds I wonder how cheap they are. Maybe I will go out and buy some. I remember how awesome it was to get a new cd a ripping off that plastic and ahhhh. Mp3's are kinda lame plus I don't  have an ipod because mine was lame and died. Maybe that will be big adventure tomorrow. Where do they even sell cds anymore? I know not to go to Walmart cuz they edit all the good stuff out and by that I mean cuss words. 

Happy Meals

I got a freaking happy meal tonight. And let me tell you, they don't even have the cool boxes anymore, and I got a strawberry smelling spoon for my toy. What the hell happened with all the school shit you used to get in happy meals. OHHHHH and last time I went they gave me peanuts instead of granola for my parfiat, so i said to the dude tonight, hey make sure you give me gronola because i tried the whole peanut thing last time. And it did not work! Because peanuts and yogurt are just not a good mix for me. But atleast I got to eat it with the strawberry spoon they gave me...yeah thanks for the toy.

I am so freaking tired of coming home at night and finding the someone is parking in my covered parking spot. These stupid little bitches always do it when I come home and night and it just happens to be raining. And these mother fuckers have like 6 cars they take up all the extra parking spaces by my apartment. So last night I wrote this bitch ass a note saying
Hey dont park here. I am tired of coming home and your car being here! If ya park here again I will have your car towed!!! haha 
So they better not park there ANYMORE!
It is not my fault you guys own two trucks like three or four cars, and the apartments only assign one parking space for every apartment UGH!!!
I just hope they don't do something to my car or come banging on my door or something. Its scary enough I pretty much live on my own. I don't want to have to worry about people harassing me
so it is fair that I have warned them saying if they park there again their car will be towed right?

Guys confuse me so bad. Why does everything have to be so complicated? I just can't wait to start meeting mature guys. Or is it always like this no matter what ago. All the confusion and not knowing how someone feels half the time? I hate this nervous anticipation.


Anyways I am loving this stormy weather. I just wish that the thunder wouldn't wake me up because I hate going to school sleepy.


Oh and I miss the stars but other than that I love when it is rainy outside..hmmm yeah =)

Facebook

Just say the social network movie. It is crazy how it started and all the controversy that came along. I mean what a great idea. Facebook is like nothing out there, I think what draws me to it. Is that it is so simple. Unlike Myspace which at first was simple, and now it totally out of control. Myspace will be dead in a few years. I dont even know how to work my page anymore let alone know how to navigate someone elses page to find there pictures. Plus all my friends use Facebook. 


The only thing bad about social networking is that communication is so dead. No one talks on the phone anymore. You dont really await the day the new guy you meet is going to call you. You await the day they add you on Facebook or send you an IM. Plus on Facebook I have so many friends that get jealous of who ever they are dating adds/talks to another person. Because pretty you can see what every one does on facebook crazy how it really controls our lives..well most of us. 


Anyways the movie was really good. I wish I had come up with something like that. But I am glad for the creators of Facebook for making it so I can meet new people and stalk peoples profiles from my very home! And to think that this whole thing was created in a dorm. It really has changed how we communicate with each other. I wonder how communication is going to be for the next generation hmmmm...

Exciting Weekend!

I actually had an exciting weekend. My friend Justin Royce and his friend Edgar came over to come swimming. I don't really know how we came up with the idea to go up to Virgina City, but well the idea was started. We were going up to Virgina City to find some freaking ghosts. Well along the way we got a little distracted. Justins cousin Cody stopped by and wanted us to go to some bonfire with him. Well turns out this bonfire was a bunch of hipsters so it was kinda cool. Well we ended up staying there awhile. I was really hungry so I made them stop by La Michocana if you don't know what that is. Best 24/7 mexican food every try it sometime. Finally we were headed up to VC well we thought we would get up there just fine. Then we freaking got pulled over, and it took forever for the cop to give us the tickets and check to make sure we wern't some criminals. The cop was hella cool best one I have meet yet but still we wanted to just get up to VC. Oh and when the cop pulled us over he asked "Why all the flashlights" we told him why we had them..then he told us the best spots that we could walk to and check out. he was sooo nice. 

We got some really cool pics in the cemetery hopefully I will be able to post them up here soon. Oh and I am pretty sure we say a ghost but we might have just been freaking out. Cuz it was pretty late at night haha.
